Let me give you my fish point of view.

He bet the Turn because he hit his straight.

He then called your raise because he thought you might be trying a bluff because a scary card came.

I have a friend who plays low level semi-pro.

He's been playing about six years.

1st year he lost a few thousands.

Re: Yet another of Harv\'s blind steals gets crazy

Hey!
Wait a minute.

I thought all the books ( Sklansky, MIller, etc.,) squawk about playing the low or idiots's end of a STR8?

What gives?

Re: rake makes all the difference in low limit games

I'm a part time beginning player I probably play less than 5 hours a week. Over the last 10 months or so I'm down $720.
I checked PokerTracker and of than 720 about 620 of it is rake!

Ouch!

Re: Folding for 1 bet on the river in a 17BB pot.

I know I'm a beginner and can get easily confused, but hell even I see straight enought not to fold this hand!

Isn't it just 1 bet or am I blind after all?

Re: A question about big hand limpers...

Ok!
Now I'm really confused!
I basically still a beginner.
I use to raise AQo but got tired of losing to made Kings on the flop or turn.
I'm sure this is probably more of an overcard play issue....

Re: River cap too much?

I know I'm probably looking at shadows and under the bed too much, but isn't it possible that a tricky player is holding KK here? And he let his opponents do the betting earlier for him?
