Default Drawing to the 2nd best Flush

When drawing to the 2nd best nut Flush, should one play agressive or just call down.

Should I have played these hands differently?

Its hard to get a read at this level.

I've seen people play agressive with only 97 high to a flush.

Thanks!

Hand 1 I'm debating a 3-bet and crying call a cap. If he had two-pair on the turn, I think he would have played it differently, and if he setted on the flop, he would have played it way differently.

Hand 2 bet the flop, check/call the turn or checkraise if you've got the 4 opponents trapped, and definitely checkraise the river if you play it like you did.

In Hand 1, your preflop call is dreadful. Seriously. You have no excuse for open-limping UTG with Q6s.

Q5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is easily a preflop raise though.
