2/4 TT hand

I'm stepping up in stakes. Interested in your thoughts on this hand. Villain is loose Agg - 43% VPIP. My image is semiloose passive. Been run over a bit lately.

bottom 2 facing resistance

I have played cloase to 800 hands with Villian. He is generally tight passive, but has shown some trickiness and some tendencies to chase. Three distinct notes are that he slow played AK preflop,...

Re: NL 6 Max tough decision...

I think your 2 pair is good. A set of 2's is the only hand Im really concerned about. A big K is possible as well. I call.

Re: More maniacal action

I was thinking that there is the possibility that he is on the draw, but also a decent probability (50-50?) that he has a pair or better. So, the better chance to take his money is a scenario in...

Re: More maniacal action

Yes, I consider calling - he may very well be on the flush draw, str8 draw and just trying to isolate to get the short stack. The big overbet sets off those bells in my head that he's buying. Even if...

Foray into 100 NL - 8Ts hand

Im mostly a 25NL player, feeling confident and thought I'd take a crack at 100NL. I took down one of my largest pots that I can recall.

My table image was fairly loose - 30-35ish VPIP in 45 hands...

Re: what do u do here, i have no idea???

You didnt say what the limits were. But, barring any reads (you didnt even know how loose the table was?), I put him all in - after all there are only 4 hands you are really afraid of.

Re: Please explain for a friend

I hope he's better at Law than he is at Math. Does he also think he can never lose at Roullette by using a Martingale scheme? After all, if black comes up 5 times then red is suddenly more likely to...

I could not have played this worse if I tried

Villian is tight passive 17% VPIP in 62 hands he's won an amazing 100% of showdowns. (7% Went to SD)

Bisons converter doesn't seem to work on Cryptos? So I'll fake it...

Re: Too aggressive?

Reraise a lot more on the flop next time. You are only a 64% (1.6:1) favorite against his 10 outs. Don't give him good enough odds to make that call.

Edit: Turn seems ok, since he called your...

Re: Autorate rules for party 6max opinions wanted

Ok, I admit I didn't check each line in depth, but at first glance, these autorate rules seem to be the same as Bison's rules as posted in the pokertracker articles at bet-the-pot.com, except for the...

Re: Bluff by zaxx19-bood bad ugly?

Looks fine to me. I might have taken the first stab on the flop for the semibluff. A call then and Id put him on the flush draw, a raise and he's got a good K at least. I'm not sure your average LL...

Re: River Decision.....I should fold this right?

I'd call. He may have a busted flush draw and be trying to buy the pot, AQ is also a possibility. You are probably beat (I'm thinking AJ), but I'd call barring any read on the villian.

Re: Table Selection

I'd say:

2. Avg. pot size
4. Hand per hour
1. Pct. of players to see flop
3. Stack size for each player

anyone else?

Re: Table Selection

Barring any hand history with a specific player, I just go by VPIP for the table. As for fish, I look for loose passive passive players (using Bisons autorate rules) - VPIP > 40, PFR <7, and total...
