You didnt say what the limits were. But, barring any reads (you didnt even know how loose the table was?), I put him all in - after all there are only 4 hands you are really afraid of.

Is this a live game? In a live game I push, great spot for your image after just sitting down.

This is awful advice. You're at best a 10% favorite over any hand he'll call with, a 4:1 dog against everything else.

if the blinds are 5/10 i'd push...

3/6 i'd push..

.01/.02 i'd fold...

.25/.5 i'd fold...

the rest is up to you

I don't know if it's the easiest fold ever, but yah, it's a fold.

I'm assuming your BB is 1 given waht you just sat down with. You dont have any reads on the raiser, and while I think there are players who feel themselves shortstacked here and want to just get it all in with a small pp to try to double up, there's not really any way to expect that from this guy.

If I'm right and the BB is 1, then he made it 20BB to go for half his stack, so you fold, because there's no way to expect putting money in the middle to be a high EV play. If you dont fold, it all goes into the middle, and I really think you're going to be way behind most of time, flipping a coin the rest. If the raiser has 500 and you ahve 400, you think about calling and seeing what happens on the flop, but you're not goign to make money calling this guy's bet. So you fold.

Maybe not the easiest ever. But pretty standard.
