Hand #5074518-1440 Summary:

OK, ive just showed down nuts for a big pot and played TAG for only maybe 30 minutes at the table. Stole from the button with K8s once...

I pause a bit on the flop before checking. Bet small feeler bet on turn and after the call have him on AK or JJ 1010 88 ...whatever Im gonna see what he does on the river he checks immediately...hes got 1010 or JJ imho...I fire out a bomb.

Thoughts?? Im basically representing a slowplay gone wrong trying to get paid....doesnt really matter though he shows weakness on 3 streets and I have one option to win.

Im not sure this is a great play any thoughts>?

Results forthcoming.

I like a flop bet here. I think your check would more likely make him think you were weak rather than strong and you dont want to give a free card which could help his hand. Also if you bet the flop and hit your 10 he is less likely to put you on QJ and you have a better chance of getting paid off.

But still I would think the way you played it, is +EV.

Looks fine to me. I might have taken the first stab on the flop for the semibluff. A call then and Id put him on the flush draw, a raise and he's got a good K at least. I'm not sure your average LL donkey will recognize a "slow play gone wrong" representation. They seem to concentrate way to much on their own hands.

Bet the flop. It's heads up I don't see a good reason not to bet here.

Looks good if the player is weak, if your opponent is a calling sta or is a bit of a thinker I would bet more or check...if I had JJ/TT here I would probably call unless the bet was really big..and 7 isn't big enough. I'm thinking overbet on the river or don't bet at all.

It depends on the opponent. His play here is rediculously weak, and just yells some sort of draw. I'd have bet the flop, then bet the turn if he checked again.. that seems to work usually. Instead of trying to represent something really tricky, just do QK. Makes it easier, I think.
