Re: Small PP\'s hate me
i think you should 3-bet. i don't see a hand that he can logically have that would beat you. i'm really struggling to find a hand that the river improved. would he call down with K6s?

Re: SSH Flop Quiz #16 - AJs (crossposted)
JT? Ax? 7x?
What happens if you check-raise, bet the turn and by the river your hand still hasn't improved? I guess I would just bet out again and fold to a raise? I don't know

So basically the equity gained by raising offsets the additional money we put in and the money we lose by driving out other players? I really never know the right time to apply this either.

QQ (3) - 5.5
JJ (3) - 1.5
TT (6) - 9.5

Re: PokerGrade yourself!
66.76% (83) Good Luck
84.70% (84) Average Luck
83.40% (82) Average Luck
62.67% (13) Bad Luck
I don't think I understand the numbers here. Is this saying that I beat 62.67% of hands on the...

Re: button/blinds preflop quiz!!
Say you're in a loose game, with 4-5 players seeing a flop.
In this hand, there is a raiser and 2 cold callers, and you are on the button, with somewhat loose blinds (you can expect at least one...

Re: What would YOU do? (wwYd?)
If you don't raise, you have no more information on the turn then you had on the flop (unless it is raised on the flop after you). If you raise, and have two callers, you can comfortably fold to any...

Re: JJ on an A-rag flop- 3 different lines....
is 'grunching' when you reply before reading anyone else's thoughts?
my thoughts:
Situation #1
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 & BB call. what would you do on the turn if a blank fell...

Re: overcards and flush draw
How many outs do you count?
I see people betting a wheel or a set.
Your king is not good, the only way you're winning is with a flush. The 2 or 3 could well be dirty because they may make a...

Re: Overcards?
the reason i'm uncomfortable betting the flop, betting the turn and then checking the river is that is absolutely screams 'i have overcards that never hit, bet at me and i'll fold'. i feel like this...
