Default button/blinds preflop quiz!!

If you think preflop decisions are not fun or interesting, then don't post.

------------------------------------------------

Say you're in a loose game, with 4-5 players seeing a flop.

In this hand, there is a raiser and 2 cold callers, and you are on the button, with somewhat loose blinds (you can expect at least one to come along)

1:
a. JTo
b. 65s
c. 89s
d. AJo
e. 33
f. 99
g. 78o

In this hand, you are in the SB, and there is again a raiser and 2 cold callers, and a loose BB.
2.
a. JTo
b. 65s
c. 89s
d. AJo
e. 33
f. 99
g. 78o
h. 57s

In this hand, you are the BB, and there has been a raiser and 3 cold callers

3.
a. 47s
b. 56o
c. K9o
d. 32s
e. JTo
f. 98o
g. 97o
h. 46s

edit: heh. deja vu. for each option, raise call or fold...

1: 65s or 89s. They stand to make a ton given our great position and the implied odds offered by the loose blinds.

2: 99. Does best in a raised pot when out of position.

3: I don't like any of them, but I dislike JTo the least, followed by 47s.

In this hand, there is a raiser and 2 cold callers, and you are on the button, with somewhat loose blinds (you can expect at least one to come along)

1:
a. JTo - fold
b. 65s - fold
c. 89s - call
d. AJo - fold/raise (will the blinds come along for 2 more? How strong is the raiser?)
e. 33 - call
f. 99 - call/reraise
g. 78o - fold

In this hand, you are in the SB, and there is again a raiser and 2 cold callers, and a loose BB.
2.
a. JTo - usually fold
b. 65s - call
c. 89s - call
d. AJo - 3-bet/fold depending on my respect for the raiser and limpers
e. 33 - call
f. 99 - call/3-bet
g. 78o - fold
h. 57s - call/fold

In this hand, you are the BB, and there has been a raiser and 3 cold callers

3.
a. 47s - call
b. 56o - call
c. K9o - call
d. 32s - call
e. JTo - call
f. 98o - call
g. 97o - call
h. 46s - call

I'm not folding anything suited or remotely connected. Something like J4o I would fold without around 16:1 or better.

1. Call with 33 and 99, fold the rest. I like to cold-call with pocket pairs, but I think I may be overdoing it. Here, getting almost 4:1, it seems OK.

2. Same. I might add 89s getting slightly better odds.

3. Yeuch... I might call with 46s.

I think your last line of actions when your on the bb may be loose. Although you can play hands like 47s and such for one more bet while everyone else paid 2 due to pot odds, the hand still sucks, and your hoping for a monster flop. I disagree with normal 2+2 play here though. A crappy hand is still a crappy hand, even if the pot is huge, with 47, you need a boat or flush to be a solid winner. I dont count on 2 gappers for str8s. These hands end up getting people caught up in crap calls. The BB and SB used to be leaky for me, but my new philo is that the pots I rake are massive compared to what a tight blind call or 2 looses me.
