B&M rebuy, strategy for very short buyin stack?

I live around an Indian casino (cache creek if anyone plays there) that holds 1 $20 rebuy tourny a week. Good number of entrants and lots of LAGs, but the starting chips is only 400, with blinds...

Re: Milking with AA?

you played it perfectly.. he caught a 2 outer.. [censored] happens. Although I'm not sure which book says to slap AA and KK all in preflop.. by doing that with small blinds and a large stack ur...

Re: short stacked AQ in BB, push or stop n go??

With only 10X the big blind left, theres not much time left to wait for a better spot. Considering the CO had about the same size stack as I did, there is a wide range of hands that he would have...

I have a feeling I played this hand wrong.. any comments or thoughts appreciated, thanks.

Stars 10 rebuy, 630 entries and about 80 left. 20 more to the money, blinds are 1500/3000 and I have...

Re: Trying to bully

agreed; as the big stack you should only be bullying small stacks and steering clear of the big ones. In the case of the KK, you can see that with his stack size hes *most likely* would not be taking...

Re: a hand

Given your stack size I think you played the hand perfectly (post-flop). You're covered in 2 spots, 3-1 and 4-1 and you barely have 10 BBs left so that doesn't leave you much room to maneuver at all...

Re: Folding AK pre flop

Not a bad fold given you say UTG is solid and you have a nice size stack. If he's as solid as you say and you flat call, you're taking a 2:1 shot to pair up, and even if you do he def. won't pay you...

Re: KK on the bubble

Looks like a clear call to me. Given the blinds and his stack size it seems more likely that someone would choose to limp or make a small raise to get more value out of aces rather than push UTG....

Re: Tough decision with 20 players left in Stars $22 NLHE

I agree with everyone else's line on this one - if he was a short stack then you can call hoping to be in a coinflip for not so large a % of your stack. However with his stack size I would think its...

Re: stars tourny... can i possibly lay this down?

Judging from his and the tables play during that blind period, min and 3x raises utg were usually 10s thru Qs and the only hands being limped up front were KK/AA/AK..

Re: did i play this like a chickenshit?

why are you afraid to bet the turn, opening yourself up to a checkraise from a possible turned heart draw? Say your read is right and your opponent holds AX hearts. If you check, you give him a free...

feedback on stars 2/4 NL hand

I'm playing on i think a 2/4 NL table on stars, with all decent and fairly tight players except for one who seems to have come from the play money tables and has been getting exceptionally lucky....

Re: Any way to avoid busting out in this situation?

I dont think theres anyway you could have gotten out of the hand after you saw the flop. You def. should have bet out on the flop regardless of how loose the table is tho, there are way too many...
