Re: Schoonmaker \"Don\'t Quit Your Day Job\" (yeah, it\'s long)

Hey Qtip, I know we haven't been formally introduced, but I am a fan of your posts.

My suggestion would be to pick a couple of your bills, and for two months practice paying them off with your...

Re: took a shot at 5 10 tonight...couple hands

I'll take a stab...

In the first hand, I guess that SB had KX, QX, or A9s. Lost that one.

In the second hand, CO had either KX or QTs, and the BB had either QX or XT. Won that one....

Re: 8/16 at Canterbury

[ QUOTE ]
You are getting 12:1, and it's not clear to me at all that it's that unlikely. The other guy could easily be chasing a flush draw, eg. Yes, you are usually behind here, but you don't have...

Re: Gutshot hits, turn action?

A flop raise isn't super bad here. I like a flop call though, and I would probably do that...the turn raise is an obvious one, and has nothing to do with knocking out the field. Raise the turn...

Re: New Players Should Not Read This!

OOPs, I read it, and the first hand is a standard play for me.

Re: 33 flops a set - best way to build a pot

Raising is a must. There is no real arguement, with the rest of the players already calling one bet, they will most likely call another, and some (2 or 3) will probably call a 3-bet. There is NO...

Re: Knowing you are ready (cross posted in micro)

I started with 50$. Lost it playing all sorts of games in about 2 weeks. Next I put in another 50$ (after reading/studying WLLH, SSHE). I started at .10/.20, moved up to .25/50 once I had the BR...

I *think* there's a significant difference between 77 and QJs here. As stated above, I could be way wrong.

Re: How Prevalent is Cheating? (no hand content)

I do believe "labia minora" is the correct term...but IMO, I think 'meat curtains', 'piss flaps', among others has a better ring to it.
