too passive or decent line vs aggro??
Villain (SupaLAG) was 20/17/18 after about 50 hands, and as his stats show, was quite efficient at clicking his raise button.

Re: Tough turn call...
Would there be a certain aggression factor that 2 or 3 of these other players would have to have that would keep anyone in this hand? >3 ???
I'd have thought set as well. If I had stats on them...

Re: River Play with Rivered Set
The only things beating you are 77, 88, and anything with a 3 (33, A3s). 33/A3 is probably unlikely, and the other 2 are more likely, but just as likely as any bigger pair as well (if you have stats...

jam the flop or wait for safe turn card???
Just curious if the best play would have been to jam the flop with the almost certain best hand, or wait for the turn to really push it, since there were so many cards that could potentially beat me....

Would YOU slow down??
villain is 21/9/2.5, but at the time only had around 6% PFR, which led to my thinking that he wouldn't 3bet w/ 99. I obviously can't fold this, unless he's the rockiest of all rocks probably, but...

Re: How agressive with overcards/
I would've checked the flop unless there's been some really passive play and you were fairly certain this would ensure a free card on the turn. If you weren't all that sure of that, I'd take your...

Bet this river??
No read on anyone, new to the table. Should I bet this river for value, or is this better for a check/call type of play?

Re: Optimum play on this? (more to come)
Yeah, the more I think about it (even w/o seeing the posts crying BET OUT), I got a little too fancy, and then didn't even carry through with my plan when it didn't happen 100% optimally. Thx for...

Re: Optimum play on this? (more to come)
Is checking, hoping a LP player bets, then checkraise, that bad? If you bet out, doesn't protect your hand against ANYTHING. Well, I guess you know what I did, here's the rest of it. Is this worth...

Re: Poker \"career\" conundrum
I remember when I only played like .25/.50 and .50/1 (not too long ago, i'm a 1/2 whore now), and I'd play some tournies at the local casinos, and they had a 4/8 game going. I couldn't fathom...

1st 25k (didn\'t wanna jack sarco\'s thread)
Just seeing how these look. This isn't my first 25k hands overall or just at 1/2 or anything, just first 25k since I felt like I had some things "click" and decided to take this more seriously, etc....

Re: Did I play this AA correct??
I think QQ is out of the question, since someone this loose surely would've 3-bet me PF, but ya never know. I guess the general consensus is raise raise raise and if he has 33 or a 2 so be it. He...

Re: Did I play this AA correct??
At the time I wasn't totally in tune with what he was doing, but in the midst of my 4 tables + a little chatting, I knew he definitely wasn't a timid player by any means.

Did I play this AA correct??
Villain had played maybe 20 hands at the table (stats hadn't shown up through PAHUD yet), but turns out he is SuperLAG 87/50/4 in 23 hands. I did realize that he played any 2 cards coupled with the...

Re: Is Low-Limit beatable?
It sucks when your AA loses you $10 or so (1/2) a couple times in a row to a donk who hits his gutshot on the river, but that 3rd time, when the 2 idiots drawing to that gutshot miss, and the other 3...

Re: When you do not want overcalls - River play
I know I shouldn't play this way and I really rarely do, but I had been gunshy about my whole night so far, hence the passive play. I'd definitely take a stab at it in the future. So is the...

When you do not want overcalls - River play
I'm just seeing if I can get any input on if I applied this concept correctly. This is from SSHE river play part when you don't want overcalls.
UTG is 75/5/.5 after 60 hands and MP3 is 32/1/.6...

Re: Simple handreading
I'm new and I think I only saw this in 1 other post: 65s. 25/9/1.5 that's probably a playable hand for that vpip range, a better hand like KQ or 77 he may have raised it up (probably not 44 though)....
