Re: KJo 4-handed
I'm only thinking the turn bet is bad because you'd hate to get raised since you can't fold with your made 2nd pair and redraws. And once you get 2 callers on the flop, it seems like you very well...

Re: KJo 4-handed
I know the OP's question was about the river, but I have a questions about the turn play. What does everyone think of check/calling the turn?
Getting raised on the turn sucks since there's no way...

You'd have more luck getting this type of question answered in the "B&M Cardrooms" forum. I did a quick search in that forum for tipping and found this discussion...

AQo in SB vs pre flop raise from UTG
This is from a $5 + $.50 Poker Stars Sit & Go. The table had been very passive, and I hadn't noticed any out of the ordinary play by UTG. I'm looking for comments on my pre-flop and flop play. Thanks...

Re: two hands for review please
I agree completely that my flop bet was way too small. But what if I'd bet 650? That would have given UTG 2:1 odds. If he called, MP2 would be getting about 3:1. That actually brings up another...

two hands for review please
These are two hands from two $10+$1 SnG's I played last night. In both tourneys, the tables were very loose, and I had been playing very tight.
I'm wondering if I misplayed them. Specifically, for...

Some help for a tourney newbie please
I've been playing limit ring games for about a year (I've worked my way up to 3/6 so far), but the tourney bug has bitten me, so I'm trying to get my feet wet by playing sit and go's. I just finished...

Re: Can\'t... stop... calling... argh...
What about raising the flop?
This should give hero a better idea of where he stands, in addition to hopefully giving him a free card on the turn. If villain 3-bets, I probably call the raise and...

Re: How do you ppl Manage ur Buddy Lists?
I'm really sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do you load the names from PokerTracker into your buddy list (it appears you're not typing them in manually)?
Thanks,
JK

Re: Get SSH (and TOP, HPFAP, etc) spiral bound
I imagine the pages might rip out after a while if I'm not careful(hopefully a long while), but several of the pages were already starting to come out with the original binding, so I don't think this...

Get SSH (and TOP, HPFAP, etc) spiral bound
I have to admit that I was a little nervous about doing this, but I took a leap of faith and took my copies of SSH, TOP, and HPFAP to Kinko's the other day and got them spiral bound. It cost about $6...

Re: QJo BB/TP 4-flush on flop
Good question. I probably should fold if I got raised, but I doubt I would. I have a really hard time folding for one more bet after I've already put one bet in on a street. Something I need to work...
