Default Can\'t... stop... calling... argh...

If I keep making plays like this, I should never be allowed to play poker again.

At what point do I dump this hunk o' junk?

Villain is decent, though on the loose/agressive side.

I probably play it the same way, but at the same time, I don't like the way this is played. In other words, I don't like to lay this down, and I don't like raising the turn.

I think it's fine. I'd call the river not expecting to win. Too bad about the turn card...maybe he has KK.

I am pre SSH so consider that. But, would everyone raise here in early position with this hand? It would seem to me that you would want a lot of people in, in case you hit your flush draw. Wouldn't the raise just likely isolate him with stronger hands such as AK AQ etc?

If I had this hand in late position, with several callers, then I would raise.

Its definently incorrect to raise first in with this EP. You call and hope to build the pot.

It is NOT definitely incorrect.

In some games, it is correct; in others, it is less correct, but still not bad. I raise ATs from any position in most games (like ~80%) I play.

If you're looking for a spot to fold this hand, it's probably on the flop. That's about the only place I could see folding.

Nah. Limping is fine, but so is raising.

I think you fold on the flop. Call me weak tight, but there is not enough money in the pot to justify drawing to the inside straight. There are not enough players in the hand to look at implied odds. If you spike an Ace, you may be dead anyways with kicker trouble or your opponent hitting a straight draw.

So you call on the flop and then the Ace comes on the turn. Why not raise? If the BB was bluffing he may give it up right here. If he is only moderately happy with his hand he will call and check the river. If he loves his hand, he will raise and you can be done with it there.

I don't really know why people are insisting on raising and wanting worse hands to fold? You want them in!
