Re: Call the river?

I've been there for 2 orbits and UTG has not gotten out of control.

I do agree my biggest mistake here is calling. I should have folded pre-flop.

Re: Butchered straight flush - results :)

With no raises behind him and 4 callers, why not call pre-flop?

Re: Call the river?

Hmmm, I suppose UTG could try to steal the blinds with a raise but if he were raising anything just to do so I'd think UTG is one horrible position to try to steal the blinds. He has 5 other people...

Re: Call the river?

It should be an easy call but this table is tight. You know its a tight table when you end watching just the blinds play, over and over again. I put him on AK. I'm sure he was looking for a J. When...

New to online.

Hello everyone. I've been playing my games live at casino's and just recently, due to a move, I've been adjusting to online games. Its taking some getting used to but I'll manage. Anyway, one thing I...

Re: JQs in SB, always complicated

I'd bet the turn. By the looks of that flop, no one is going anywhere. So betting into the turn feels right to me. Other than that, I like what I see.

AQ suited

I just want a review of how I played this one.
BB can be very loose and aggressive. UTG is new to the table but seems very loose and passive. Never raises, even with monster hands. Button is loose...

Swills,

First of all, you should be check-3betting this flop. Don't hope for others to bet your hand for value; do it yourself. That's -3SB there.

Your turn and river play do not...

My only guess is maybe UTG thought he had a straight. I've done that a few times. Yeah, we all had a good laugh at the table when I turn my cards over and declare a straight and everyone looks at me...

Yeah just use 'nh' instead of insulting people.
This may induce them to play in the same predictable manner. Predictable is good.
