Default New to online.

Hello everyone. I've been playing my games live at casino's and just recently, due to a move, I've been adjusting to online games. Its taking some getting used to but I'll manage. Anyway, one thing I noticed is that other online players seem to think they're all pro's while everyone else is a fish.

So now we have 2 catorgories, Pro's and fish. Nothing else in between. Thats it. I'm getting real sick and tired of being called a fish or worse when I win a show down against someone. As far as I can tell I am making the right choices, otherwise there wouldn't be any show down.

So like I said I'm new to online gaming but lemme ask you all, is it always like this? I didn't have to put up with this BS in the "real" world. It seems that when people are behind their computers they become tough guys.

Oh, it's not just gaming.

Bingo.

Ignore people who call you a fish. Most of the time the play they're criticizing isn't even bad play. They are also often fish themselves.

All this is beside the fact that calling someone a fish is just a jerk thing to do.

sometimes payer chat can be a useful thing when you find someone who is easily incited and thrown off their game. If it bothers you however, just turn it off, there are plenty of assholes out there and they're all super tough when there's no one to punch them in the face.

Thats true. I guess I never looked at it like that, throwing them off their game that is. I never take offense to it. I usually throw jokes back at em. Its gonna take more that a text chat to get my blood boiling.
