I called "two cold" on the flop. PFR called one more.
The turn and river were "safe" cards and the BB bet twice and I called twice (PFR mucked on the turn).
BB turned over JJ and my AQ was...

Calling a Raise in the BB with suited Junk
Like most of us, I don't like losing money with crap hands. A dilemma many of us face is whether to call a raise with suited crap hands in the BB with several people already in.
My question is...

Potential Trouble with AQ
40-80 B&M.
I have AQ (off) UTG+2. My image is deservedly tight. I raise. 1 fold. So-So player 3 bets, several fold to the BB (relatively new player to the table who I have not played with before...

Re: KK sb HU 30
This is an easy bet.
You very likely have the best hand and even if you don't you have the nut flush draw.

KK- Misplayed Twice?
I lost twice with KK today and feel that I may have misplayed both hands.
Hand 1:
20-40 Lucky Chances. The game has literally just started 6 handed and I look down at my first hand and see the...

Re: Playing small pocket pairs in LP
With a small pocket pair ( 22-55) in late position against players who protect their blinds I think you should muck. When your pairs start to get bigger than this you should raise.

What do you do with the Ladies?
20-40 Bay 101. I have 2 ladies UTG. Raise. Next player who is better than average for Bay 101 makes it three to go, another fold, next player (average Bay 101 player) calls three cold a couple of...

I\'m behind with the Ladies
20-40 at Lucky Chances. UTG (pretty good player that literally is there every time I play) flat calls. I raise with the ladies. 2 more callers, now back to UTG who 3 bets. I am fairly certain this...

JJ Hand
$300 buy-in with $5 and $5 blinds at Lucky Chances.
UTG raises to $25. This lady is not a very good player who calls with too many hands but she is not horrible, plays a decent amount of no...

Pocket Pairs on the Button
20-40 at Lucky Chances. It's the tightest 20-40 I have played in about 2 months but still a playable game.
All fold to 2 off the button who raises. Raiser is a solid player not particularly...

Re: Bay 101 spreads 8-16
The 8-16 game is replacing the 9-18 game.
For some reason the 9-18 game had a lot of problems maintaining a full table. When I played it the game was often shorthanded and busted up relatively...

Re: checking the nuts twice
With the exception of the flop check I don't like the way this was played at all.
You call a raise with a crummy hand, then by some miracle you actually make your hand on the turn and you check?...

Re: River bet or check?
I would have folded on the flop-you don't have a hand.
If you proceeded to play through I would check on the river. With all those players someone probably has a flush.
