Default $15 - $30 NYC - When AKs doesn\'t hit

Very loose crazy 10-20 with half-kill game, basically playing at 15-30 because every pot is 4 or 5 players for 3 bets.

This hand is 15-30 with me posting the $15 kill.

UTG who is not a rock but not loose aggressive raises UTG. A fold. Really Bad Fishy (RBF) player cold calls 2 (he will go to the end on a gutshot or bottom pair). Another fold. I make it 3 bets with AKs. Folded back to UTG who makes it 4 bets (a cap in this game). RBF cold calls 2 again. I call.

Flop is T83r none of my suit.

UTG bets. RBF calls. Question #1: What is your play?

Idecided to call.

Turn is a 2d, making 2 diamonds on the board of T832.

UTG bets again. RBF calls again. Question #2 What's your play?

Results to follow.

Due to the size of the pot and the raggedy board I would flat call the flop and the turn.

Default Well...

I think I would fold on the flop. Since you didn't I would surely fold on the turn.

I think, you played it bad. Folding or raising the flop is much better. Against most aggressive opponents, raise on the flop, and fold to 3 bet. U are defintelybeat atleast by the fish I think.

I would either fold or call, probably because the pot being as large as it is and the slight possibility that my
hand still might be the best I would lean towards calling.
On the river if your opponent bets and the middle player folds then you have an easy call.

hi phil
you should fold here. you don't have the odds to make the over-call and you're down to 4 outs in a likely split pot if you get there. save your fight for better terms. fold.

If you don't fold on the flop, I think you have to raise. The raise should give you a better indication of where you are at (I would probably fold to a re-raise or a turn bet when I don't improve), and has the added benefit of quite possibly giving you the option for a free card on the turn. I think raising the flop makes this an easier hand to play.

Just calling on the flop and folding the turn isn't bad, but I think a better play is to raise the flop. If you are re-raised folding at that point as some considered is a mistake. I think you must see the turn card getting over 20:1. I then fold the turn if I didn't improve.
