Re: Party Poker and Eurobet Poker Table Display Problem

Thanks for this, TP - I'd been having the same problem with the new laptop and finally got around to trying to fix it. Appreciate the post.

PP 20+2 MTT hand

PP 20+2, 2000 started, 230 left, 220 paid, blinds 300/600

MP1 is new to table, no reads
Button likes to limp
Table is reasonably tight, my image is tight, except that I've pushed PF twice in the...

Playing big-ish hands too fast

I think I sometimes leave chips on the table by playing big and moderately big hands too fast. Agree/disagree with the flop push? Anyone fold PF? Table was pretty passive and folding seemed pretty...

Re: There is no such thing as a confidence interval for sit-n-go\'s.

[ QUOTE ]

I agree the AgentSq has provided the most enlightening and most spot on correct post of this entire thread. I second his nomination. However, you didn't state his complete message. ...

Re: There is no such thing as a confidence interval for sit-n-go\'s.

Interesting discussion. The use of confidence intervals to evaluate the uncertainty of your estimated average win rate (per SNG) is clearly valid, as AgentSq thoughtfully describes in a post that...

Too weak on the river?

Hero is ring-game noob (4K hands in PT). Villain is LP-A after 50 hands. Thoughts: I figured he'd fold to a bet unless the river made his flush/str8. Am I thinking about this the right way?

Re: Call/fold?

I think it's a fold, but I think it's a little closer than others do. For a whole lot of the players you see at the Party 22s (is that where we are?), the range of hands you'll see played this way...

Re: Right to lay this down?

Thanks, all. Yeah, I look back and can't imagine why I didn't 3-bet the flop. I play not goot. The turn raise and 3-bet behind convinced me that someone had me beat and I figured it was going to...

Right to lay this down?

I'm new to ring games, and while I think initial signs are positive (after 3K Party .5/1 hands: VPIP is 17%, PFR 6%, post-flop aggr. 2.0 -- these seem to be in the right ballpark, no?), my NY's...

Re: RESULTS

A little math to help me wrap my mind around it - What are your average odds if called? Maybe 2:1? Simplifying to the situation where you're in the SB w 6950 left after posting, instead of CO:

Same weak-tightish table as in Hand 1, I assume. With what hands would MP2 raise 2 limpers? Looks like AA-QQ or AK to me, but you know the...

Re: UB 20+2 MTT, 2 hands near the bubble - results

Thanks for the responses. Villain1 was looking to CR me but had second thoughts when I pushed. He had 3rd thoughts and made what he thought was a crying call, but he had TT and MHING. Villain 2...

Re: Short stacked with AA

In maddo's original situation, I push every time. In adanthar's situation (760 chips, blinds 50/100, 1 limper to me), I push even more often.

But not considering the other options...

Re: Is the \'T\' really necessary?

In some cases the T helps avoid ambiguity. If you're in an Omaha tourney and you say "I was in the big blind and had 8773", do you mean that 8773 was your stack size or the...
