Re: Please review this....

I'd say your chances of getting your money back from Mr. 72o MP guy is pretty good.

Re: Top pair, top kicker - 4 bet on the flop.

There are few instances when limping in with QQ is correct especially UTG.

I might limp with QQ if I'm on the button or something and the whole table has limped.

I might limp with QQ if I'm...

Re: Ignoring the show of strength.

Preflop: Easy fold. With that many early limpers and a preflop raise ahead of you, I'd fold every time. Plus you still have several players to act behind you and it might reraised and you'll be...

Re: AQ suited on the button.

I like your play. He is clearly telling you something by his aggressiveness on the flop. His check-raise on the flop says he's got a strong hand. I don't see him capping the flop with a preflop...

Re: Top pair, top kicker - 4 bet on the flop.

From his preflop limp I would doubt he had a better Ace than you do.

His checkraise on the flop indicates a good hand. From my experience Q7 is not a common UTG limping hands suited or not. ...

Re: $3-6 hand on Party Poker

Preflop:
I wouldn't think he was on a steal as he would have to successfully get the button, SB, BB, plus UTG poster to all fold. I would put him on something legitimate. If I did suspect a steal,...

Re: Frustration with 3-6-12 - Move Up? - ?s about Clark\'s Thread

I can relate. I used to go out there and play too. I've come to hate the 3-6-12 type strucutre. I think the $12 big bet on the end encourages chasing (probably justified) and a lot of sandbagging...

Re: Another 99 hand

Newbie Question.
How do you quickly calculate things like AA-TT is 30 hands? Is there a shortcut? What about the 99 vs AKs 52-48? I'm learning here and appreciate your patience.

Re: SLICK and AQ--what do you do when you miss?

I would be interested in what you guys think about this kind of situation as I find this to be a hole in my game.

I find it difficult to decide what to do when at the river and I face only 1 or...

Re: KK on a favorable flop with unfavorable action?

I'd say fold. It seemed that UTG was planning on check-raising himself on the flop and since he was the PFR I would put him on an overpair or TT. I'm not sure if TT is as likely as an overpair here...

Re: Hand against an unknown. What to do?

I would have played it the same until the turn. Unknown is clearly telling you get has a made straight (78s), set, or possibly two pair. I think he is trying to protect his hand against the flush...
