Poker Puzzle
7 players see the flop of 433 rainbow. I´m utg and bet, immediate left raises (woman who can be aggressive on the flop but then often checks it down on river, will pay off virtually everything because I bluffed her out of a big pot once), rest fold, I 3-bet, she 4-bets, I 5-bet, she calls.
Turn: 6. I bet, she calls. River: 9. We both check. What are the hands you put us on? |

Re: Poker Puzzle
Well, that could be just about anything. I'll take a wild guess and say:
she: A4 you: 55 |

Re: Poker Puzzle
You have an overplayed overpair, she has a 3.

Re: Poker Puzzle
I don't think our Hero would check the river with a flopped boat. He can't go for a checkraise here against one opponent who smoothcalled his turn bet.

Re: Poker Puzzle
This was my thinking too. Lady has A4s and hero has 55-88.

Re: Poker Puzzle
I'll say 77 or 88. 55 is unlikely to be played UTG. 66 can be eliminated b/c that would have been the turned boat, but the check on the river is inconsistent with that.
The dumb old lady had Q9 offsuit. |

My hand and final question
I had A4s. Did I win it or not?

Re: My hand and final question
Why are you playing A4s UTG? They game would have to be mighty loose and passive to be able to pull that off with any +EV over time, especially if the lady is anywhere near as aggressive pre-flop as she was on this flop.
I'm gonna gonna go out on a limb and say you split it with another A4. |

Re: My hand and final question
I don't see why you'd want to put in 5 bets on the flop with this holding?
