Re: Most dominating athlete ever?

Aleksandr Karelin.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is my choice as well. Google Karelin if you've never heard of him -- he pretty much defined the term 'dominate'.

Also...the sickest shot I've actually seen in the NHL was from last years' Avs-Sharks playoffs when Cheechoo scored that throuh-the-legs redirect to beat both Rob Blake and David...

Not as sick though when that first college kid scooped the puck up from behind the net and threw it in.

Re: what shows should i be watching/downloading?

Carnivale is terrific (although the ending was disappointing).

Deadwood. It's fantastic.

Lost is alright. These last episodes have been kind of weak though.

TPNK on monotone flop, big pot

Novice 6-max player here, need some help.

Table is loose-passive overall, no significant reads on any individual player though.

Top pair bad kicker in SB on paired board

I'm a complete novice at 6-max, so apologies if this hand is obvious.

Pretty early in the session so very limited reads. Both opps seemed fishy (70-80 vpip).

Re: My AK/AQ ain\'t hitting at 32.4% -- normal?

And how do you propose I check the result of flops of hands when there was no flop? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

But honestly, how can those hands have any bearing on the result? No matter which AK...

Re: Do this the next time you play at Party

I just spent the last 5 minutes staring at your avatar, mesmerized. You owe me like, 3 bucks or something.

Re: My AK/AQ ain\'t hitting at 32.4% -- normal?

Obviously. This was just something I did while going over my hands and trying to find leaks.

Then again, wouldn't I be happy to be called more often by other aces and kings when I'm holding AK?...

Re: Intertops cashouts

My first Intertops cashout took 5 days to complete. Was worried for a while there, but as others have said, they're just slow.

My AK/AQ ain\'t hitting at 32.4% -- normal?

I just ran a query on 11,000 hands in PokerTracker. Turns out I've been dealt AK a total of 129 times, but have hit at least one A or K a total of 37 times, for a 28.7% hit percentage. For AQ it's a...

Thanks for the input guys.

Re: Call down turn raise from passive player w/ TP2K?

So consensus seems to be a fold, or check/fold river UI.

Just for fun: I called down and villain turns over his Q/images/graemlins/spade.gifQ/images/graemlins/heart.gif....

I\'m hating myself for this fold, but....

At the time I misread villain's stats as sLP-P and figured it was a standard tricky-fish stop-n-go with the flopped trips. Today I'm replaying all my lost hands from last night, and seeing villain...

Re: Playing back at PF-raiser w/ medium pairs

I'm not quite confident in my postflop play to raise 99 from EP at 1/2 yet.

Of course, MP3 turns over AK to steal the pot from me /images/graemlins/frown.gif (MP1 had Ace-rag).
