Unfortunately, no reads or stats on villains in this hand.

I'd raise pre-flop. That's tough, it certainly looks like Villain has a high PP.

I think that's probably exactly how I would have played it. That being said, I am now beginning to lean towards a PFR with 99. I'm definitely going to start trying it more.

limping versus raising pf is close. I prefer raising, but there have been countless arguments advocating both. and certainly the hand plays differently if you had raised.

given that you limped, postflop is awesome.

Exactly how I'd play it, including pre-flop. Lead the turn if MP3 only called your raise then lead a river blank?

I'm not quite confident in my postflop play to raise 99 from EP at 1/2 yet.

Of course, MP3 turns over AK to steal the pot from me [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] (MP1 had Ace-rag).

If MP1 folds to my flop raise, do you call down here, or is it still a check/fold UI on the turn? How about if the flop was 8-instead of T-high?

This is where the tell is essentail. If you had know he was a wild loose player, you might have called him down.
