In New York State, participation as a player on online gambling sites in legal. Many of the statutes you cite are not applicable because the gambling takes place on the server which is not located...

Online poker is not illegal in most states. US courts would not neccesarily have jurisdiction over Empire, but since they are marketing in the US, a court might accept jurisdiction in a case against...

Bots have no chance at NL/PL games. That is where poker is going, especially as it is becomming a worldwide game and limit has historically only been played in North America. Europe is all PL.
