Are you e-mailing empire about the $500 bonus?

I gave them a pretty simple reinstate my bonus or close my account. Once again there are plenty of skins. I'm not even getting rake back there so screw 'em.

I started with a "Friendly email". Of course, once I get the off topic form letter back from Pralahamalad stating that the My Account page displays bonus stats, then I'll get my bitter beer face on. This sucks, I already had the $500 earmarked for booze and hookers.

I phoned them to ask why 500 hands would be used for an expired bonus when I had two bonuses pending?

I can understand them canceling the 500$ bonus, but those hands should be applied to the other bonus?

Dear Empire,

I noticed that you removed my $500 bonus from my bonus account. I realize at this point the bonus was an unintentional error on your part, but in my opinion when you sent out the confirmation email it became a working agreement between us. During the months of July and August I generated over $7000 dollars in rake for your business, this month is about the same. I have no control over the way in which you choose to conduct your business. I do have the right of the consumer to take my business elsewhere. If my bonus is not reinstated I will focus my playing elsewhere during October and November. This will guarantee that you lose many times the $500 in lost revenue and will make me feel better about your decision. Please let me know your decision in a timely manor. I will refrain from playing at empire until we resolve this matter.

They have a few small threads on this topic, but the more the poker community is aware of this issue, the more likely Empire will relent.

I have no problem with Empire - they made a mistake - EVERYBODY KNEW it was a mistake. EVERYBODY KNEW they [censored] up - yet still - yet, like lemmings you deposited money. SO - what's the big deal - you don't get $500, you only get $100.

Try playing poker to make your money.

And they solve there mistake by taking away $50 of the next bonus (HOTSEP).

They went from revoking 1 bonus, to revoking 2 bonuses.

Empire can do better, and 2+2 needs fewer surrender monkeys.
