There's this thing called a CREDIT REPORT and these companies called COLLECTION AGENCIES. It's the same thing as getting a credit card with a $10,000 line of credit and buying a whole lot of stuff and maxing out the card. The line of credit on the credit card is unsecured BUT they will come after you. Trust me...

This is incorrect. Gambling debts are not legally collectable in the United States. Even markers at Las Vegas casinos which are completly legal beyond a shadow of a doubt (as oposed to offshore internet sites). A vegas casino can not in court get a judgement against you for a marker. You won't be able to get credit from another casino though, they will take your cash business because it +EV for them and they dont want you going somewhere else to lose.

No!!!

Vegas casinos structure their markers so they don't establish a debtor/creditor relationship for this very reason. They set it up so when you take a marker in LV, its basically like writing the casino a check. If you don't pay, you could be held criminally liable in the state of Nevada. Once they institute criminal proceedings against you, the casino will basically give you the options of paying or going to jail.

Yes but you are in essence writing a check to back up your marker, which check is destroyed if you pay the marker. High rollers who get credit at casinos often refuse to do this and just get a old fashioned marker with no check or other authorization given. They have the power to do this because of the huge action they generate. The casino can not legally collect these markers and there are instances of large unpaid markers by huge whales, whose cash business is still accepted.
