Re: JJ vs possible blind steal
The villian/hero caps preflop and again on the flop. The villian is passive postflop and calls it down. I wouldn't be surprised to see KK or QQ.

Re: A few hands from my first 3/6 session

Couldn't the preflop raiser make the same flop raise with such hands as KK, QQ, KJs, and QJs?

Yes it is possible. But it seems that most small limit...

Re: A few hands from my first 3/6 session
Hand 1: on the flop I'll bet into the preflop raiser. If he raises me hopefully it'll drive out the button and I'll call and check/fold the turn unless a 6 comes.
Hand 2: I'd just call the river.

Re: Iso with 66
Bet it but be prepared to fold to a check/raise. And if he just calls your turn bet then check on the river.

Re: open raised 66 in MP2
I just learned about "Clarkmeister's Therom" two days ago. Isn't this a situation in which to apply it?

Re: 3 bet, call, or fold?
#1 is a fairly easy fold
#2: I said call but given the circumstances/table, etc I'll sometimes 3-bet it.

Re: turn decision
I'd raise. If the guy has a 9 I'd expect him to try to C/R me. It's more likely that he has overcards, puts you on a flush draw (raising the flop to get a free card), and is representing that he...

Re: Folding A Baby Flush To A River 3-bet
I'd probably lay it down on the flop when it's two bets to me....my flush could hit and I could still lose.
But since we've played on...
I'd consider a bet on the turn as I've picked up some...

Re: Perfect slowplay opportunity?
I'd raise here. Some of the donks will call and the CO may reraise. This helps your image as they will realize that you button raise with big hands as well as others (e.g. draws). Or am I mistaken...

Re: tough QQ hand
On the flop I'd 3-bet as I think you're still ahead and want to make the draws pay.
I'd call that last bet on the river and hope it was a desparation attempt...the pot is large.

Re: TT OOP...bet until he gives me reason to stop?
Sorry for the newbie questions...
1) what's a donk?
2) isn't it better to check the river (with the intent of calling any bet) to prevent getting check-raised and to induce a bluff from a hand that...
