How many hands?
How many hands of .05/.10 NL on Pokerstars full rings should I play before making a decision about my profitability? I'd really appreciate any stats from others like VPIP/PFR, aggession factors and...

Re: Losing streaks
Cool. I know. The longer it goes the harder it is to swallow. Just keep hanging on. It is nice to have poker tracker and be able to go back through the hands and reevaluate your play. Yep, I had...

Re: Losing streaks
Well, that's somewhat reassuring. $200's way tougher than $10's. But I guess variance is probably lower though right?

Losing streaks
Anybody ever gone 26 $10 at PP with 2 seconds and 1 third or something comparable? I was wondering if that might be a record or something.

Poker tracker Tournament Amount Won by Hand
In the miscellaneous stats tab on Pokertracker it tells how many tournament chips you have won with different hands from high card up through straight flushs. Mine are all green except for one pair...

Re: mcj0014, love your post, bro...
Thanks, Desdia. You know I'm in math and we are really harsh to each other and students about doing things right. I see a bit of that in poker. People don't respond well to harsh criticism of...

Re: Critique My Play
I would have gone all in on the flop. This would force him to think really hard about that ridiculous draw.

Re: How\'s my play on this one?
How exactly would one go about determining whether this guy is on a flush draw or has a J? I can see figuring this out if I've played with someone long enough, but in a sit and go? I push on the...

There is a lot of opposition to bad beat rants around here and I understand why. I'm going through one of those downward swings right now and at first I was incensed by the title of this thread. I...

Re: Mack, i\'m not a weak-tight player...
Look, I'm getting sick and tired of hearing that. The extra .5 detracts from my ROI about 10%. My probability of ruin with the limited amount of funds in my bankroll almost doubles. Since I know...

Re: TT, early round
The only thing to worry about here was the possible straight draw. Unlikely someone played qj. I probably would have gone all in if there had been a potential flush draw. You can't give that many...

Re: How did I play AQs here?
I would have limped or raised to 250. I also definitely would not have bet minimum into that flop. Either put something out there that is going to dissuade them or check.

Re: Complex JJ on the bubble - What would you do?
I'd either fold or push. I'd be most worried about a higher pocket pair and what is a good flop here really other than getting a third J? Even if no overcards fall you still have to be worried...
