Re: KJs results of other hand
Even if he showed you QQ, you call the turn. You're getting 7.16 to 1, and have 10 outs (3.5 to 1). Not even close!

Re: I play GOOOOD!
One other point that makes me not like this so much (and I definitely understand your reasoning). If the BB is reasonably solid as you state, he may also know that you're likely to make this move...

Re: Thanksgiving fish
Last year early December was awesome, and it slowed down a bit around Xmas - January isn't as good either, but on Party at least the difference is negligible, in my opinion...

I agree with this: 3 is much different than 4, especially if you're watching sports on TV and trying to post on 2+2...

Re: Harrah\'s Announces WSOP SKED
Nope - that would be new. Damn interesting, too. Also big changes in the start date (6 weeks later), and the buy-in for the 1st weekend of events (all $1500), and the number of events - up to 45...

Re: Help settle this argument...
No offense, but this question (60-40) comes up about once every three months. If I'm not mistaken, Fossilman, along with Paul Philips and most others, agree that you should take 60-40 opportunities...

Re: help solve a dispute
Ummm, you got some idiot to call you for 50%+ of his stack with T9. Well done. Next tournament.
Roomate? Wrong.
You? Not so lucky this time.

Re: Do you call with KQ here?
Fold. Limper, then all-in raiser? Me no like. The only way you're happy is if
a) limper folds and
b) raiser has pp and not an an ace
or the miracle -
a)limper calls, has small pp and ...

Re: WTF are they expecting?
It's the same reason telemarketers annoy 99.5% of the population - and know that they will ahead of time. They only need .5% to pay for the costs of the other 99.5% plus a healthy profit. In this...

Re: Best/Worst sites to play SNGs?
Stay away from the Party 10, 20, and 30 - those players are some of the best found on the Internet. Combined with the excellent structure, you really don't have a chance.
Ok, maybe not. Stay...

Re: How does the casual player handle this?
I think you are right on about the lows being lower than the highs are high. I've noticed this in poker as well as other games of chance. I'm a winning long-term player, understand that I want...

Re: the transition from UB to party
Yeah - it really is nuts. If your game selection is good (and there's no reason for it not to be at Party), you could make a pretty strong argument for literally never folding a pair on the river,...
