I call here, push if I hit. But I am tired as I type this.

Tight/weak code folds here.

Aggressive testosterone code pushes here.

I'm interested in other's opinions of this, as this situation vexes me.

I promise to stop refering to myself in the 3rd person....

Call off 2/3rd of your stack and then push if you like the flop? You must be tired Anyway, I think this is a fold.

Fold. Limper, then all-in raiser? Me no like. The only way you're happy is if
a) limper folds and
b) raiser has pp and not an an ace

or the miracle -

a)limper calls, has small pp and
b)raiser has PP.

Then all you need to do is hit a K or Q.

Note that there's no folding equity to this play - you're calling an all-in bet, with another player to act behind.

Just my two cents...

after re-reading this i didn't mean call. i mean push or fold.

so is it a general consensus that with the limper, and a raiser that it's an easy fold?

how about this one that was just a few hands later? by the way I folded the first one, the guy that pushed had 66, and the other guy had K6s. A queen flopped, but I'm still happy with my fold if it was the right play.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed)

Hero (t1350)
BB (t3590)
UTG (t4130)
MP (t1135)
CO (t1185)
Button (t2110)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls t200, MP folds, CO folds, Button folds, <font color="CC3333">Hero?</font>

Sit #1: With the limper, this is an autofold.

Sit #2: Without the limper, I'd still fold--you are at best a 50:50 (under pp) and there are lots of situations where you are a dog (A-x) a huge dog (A-K, A-Q) or in big, big trouble (AA,KK,QQ).

Situation 1 is an easy fold, in SNGs folding equity is the key to most decisions.

Situation 2 is closer. It would depend upon how the limper if playing if he is limping often and willing to fold to a raise you might want to push and pick up the 500 chips in the pot, but if you are fairly certain that he will call you if you push this is an easy fold.
