Re: ATs -- bad position
I think I just check/call the river. I don't like betting into a pot that will usually be chopped and is only 9 bets especially with the flush coming on the river and three guys behind you.

Re: KJ blind defense
Because its only four handed SB has a huge range of hands. I think a turn raise is the right play. If he leads the river again after I think I would just call.

Re: Set vs color-flop
You played this very weak. You have to get some raises in somewhere. Especially that river. You say "he might have AA," but what if he has AK? He likely has a second-best hand here that he will...

Re: Stealing with small PP, hitting the flop
I call the 3-bet on the turn. Three hands have you beat (88,99,KK). All of them make sense considering his play thus far.
You beat AA,QQ,JJ,TT. I can't think of another hand he would play...

Re: AK - how\'s this river?
A lot of 9's will 3-bet here, maybe even someone who tried to checkraise his trip tens on the turn and didn't see the straight (see the "i'd fold A-high" response). I agree with everyone else, you...

Re: Too much aggression with QQ?
You're right, the pot is pretty huge and folding is a bad move. But you're almost definitely behind and drawing to one (maybe 2) outs. The EV in calling seems very, very marginal.

Re: Too much aggression with QQ?
If you raise, I fold this turn to the 3-bet.
I would just call down, though.
The best part about this hand is DEFINTELY

BB has 2h 3h (high card, ten).

Re: fold this top pair?
[ QUOTE ]
Calling 2 cold PF and 2 more on a gutshot means more $ for you in the long run
[/ QUOTE ]
Its a double gutshot. No way anyone folds that flop.

Re: 99 - value bet this river?
Against a passive player I would check the turn here. If he has any piece of that board he's not moving off of it. As for the river, there is absolutely no reason to bet that. The times he has a...

Re: fold this top pair?
[ QUOTE ]
I'd 3-bet pre-flop, flop looks good, turn good, raise the river. I'm very, very curious as to what the SB held.
[/ QUOTE ]
Why would you raise the river here? I feel like he would...

Re: fold this top pair?
I don't like this hand. I don't see how MP1 could be cold calling 2 on the flop then check-raising the turn with an inferior hand to yours. Without reads though I think I call this down too.

Re: Call fold or raise with AK?
If he's a tilting LAG, i think the pot is big enough to call down when you combine the chance that you'll make the best hand on the river plus the chance that he's just spewing chips.

Re: 2/4 Party BBJ - weak flush play
I think that unless you know those guys caught in the middle are coming along, the best line is just to call instead of 3-bet on that flop.

Re: Who bets this turn?
You've got a lot of outs to make the best hand. I like checking here because it helps induce a bluff for when you do make your hand.

Re: Am I way out of line on my play here?
I really think you need to show some aggression on the flop.
However, given that you check-called the flop I really like the turn check-raise. I bet the CO was pretty surprised that he won this...

Re: capping TT from the BB to isolate.
Capping preflop seems like an easy raise for value. Also keep in mind the SB isn't on normal 3-betting standards right now, he knows Button is a maniac and is 3-betting any playable hand to isolate...

Re: Cracked Kings
Without reads I think I call down, but against a really passive player I might be able to fold the turn.

Re: Is checking behind on this river too weak?
I like the capped flop against a LAG. However, I'm not sure what to make of the turn check-raise. My gut tells me that he made his flush on the turn, but then he checks the river again. I can't...
