Re: Offering FREE observing / tutoring at pokerstars!

Re: Offering FREE observing / tutoring at pokerstars!

Ok, Kurto, I think you said you play late at night 10 - 1 or something ? I play from about 10pm - 8 am off and on. I got time to play. If these hours aren't good for you, I can make other...

Re: Offering FREE observing / tutoring at pokerstars!

Ok, so I'll download that later on today and message you. Kurto, you would be willing to play me ? $10 buy-in so not too expensive in a full ring NL game. Sounds good. I very much want to...

Re: Offering FREE observing / tutoring at pokerstars!

I'm not that mean I just tend to go on tilt sometimes . I'm having fewer bouts of it, though if you can believe that. Thanks and BTW when are you offering this ? I will download MSN. NO problem...

Re: Offering FREE observing / tutoring at pokerstars!

Not sure if you like me Kaz, but I would certainly be interested in this. What is MSN ? So you would observe me in real cash game and comment on it ? If I play at poker stars, I usually play...

Re: JJ Pre-flop - Stars $1/2

JJ and QQ suck. Generally don't put a lot of money into them. KK and AA are the only hands worth a damn. I got my ass handed to me today when I had QQ . The correct play right there is to fold...

Re: I just lost another buy-in to a flopped flush

I know it wasn't a bad beat. I didnt' say it was. I said it was an awful play by me. T 5 suited. I don't play any two suited but I do sometimes mix up my play and play a hand I wouldn't normally...

Re: I just lost another buy-in to a flopped flush

I think every one of you was born a good poker player weren't you ?

Well, I'll tell you what. Right now. I have absolutely nothing else going for me. Nothing. I can't do anything but poker...

Re: I just lost another buy-in to a flopped flush

I can never hold on to money when it comes to poker. I win then I think I will go on winning. When I double up, I just lose it all back. I need to make a rule to leave whenever I double up. I...

Re: I just lost another buy-in to a flopped flush

I played it because I was bored. I went on tilt earlier in the night when I made a bad play. All in all, tonight I lost $150 so far. $100 of it was pure profit that I had made earlier in the day....

Re: I just lost another buy-in to a flopped flush

Yeah I know. I shouldn't have played it but aren't the odds 2.5 % that someone else has also flopped a flush ? No one disputed my stat ? Are there any smart people on here ?

I just lost another buy-in to a flopped flush

Come on , I need answers. You guys ignored my last post about this. Obviously, the chances of two people flopping a flush are a lot greater. I flopped a ten high flush and it was no good. I lost...

Re: Should I be calling raises with 4 4 ?

Thanks Mason. This is a complex concept. You said something about calling if the raise is 5 % of the smaller stack between the big stack which he was but he wasn't the one who raised. There 5...

Should I be calling raises with 4 4 ?

I'm in a very juicy game right now. I folded 44 to a 6x blind raise preflop. Flopped a set of 4's on a monotone board and completed the full house on the river. The guy in LP flopped the nut...

Re: Flopped 4 high flush in BB

I get a 2.5 % chance for someone else to have two clubs in the rest of the players. That's good enough for me . Can anyone verify this statistic ?

8/47 * 7/46 = .025

8 clubs. 47...

Flopped 4 high flush in BB

So that leaves 8 clubs left. 2 in my hand and 3 on flop.
I had 2 4 of clubs in BB. What are the odds someone else has suited clubs in their hand if 4 or 5 people see the flop. Probability...
