1. How's the waitlist on a Friday night?
2. Do they spread 1-2 NL?
3....

Re: Oklahoma Poker Rooms
I've called winstar several times and they are going to implement blackjack before poker. They said around March. I expect that room to be great since it's so close to Dallas. I called Firelake...

Re: Playing TP2K...
I'd raise the flop to find out where you are right there. Check calling all the way down seems like the worst way to play it.

Re: AA with a paired board on flop ...Help
[ QUOTE ]
He had a 4.
4XBB seems small to me. Raise it to $3-4 straight pre-flop with AA.

I think 4xBB is fine here. You do not want to vary the size of your preflop raises...

I've read quite a few poker books, and I ran across this the other day. The guy claims to have a system that works for playing online poker and consistently making a profit.

Re: Play along with me & my AQ...
Well I wouldn't always bet out with overs here but if I raise preflop and get a caller and they check to me on the flop, I'm betting. I don't like open limping from the CO with AQ at all.

Re: \"So...What did you have?\"
There are two correct answers. Either ask them what they think you had and say you're right to whatever they say or tell them you had pocket jokers.

Re: Playing occasional home No Limit games
I think you picked a bad spot to make a move here. If you want to try something like this, you should do it with position. You definitely do not want to try it in a raised pot from the small blind....

Tournament Poker for Advanced Players. Of course, it's a Sklansky book so if you didn't like HEPFAP, you probably won't like this one either.

Re: Advice on paired flops?
My opinion if i hit this board with JT - I do not check raise. I think a check raise announces to the table that you have a T.
One of two things are likely to happen:
1. You let the bettor of...

Re: Did i play this \"correctly\" ? (KK)
Like they said - raise it up to $2 or so preflop. You want as much money in the pot preflop as you can get with this hand.
On the flop - bet 3/4 or pot sized here. You don't want to give a cheap...
