Anyone know where I might be able to find a package deal for a long weekend in Vegas.

Hotel + airfare...

I usually started with: www.expedia.com when looking for deals.

hotels.com will also do both, look at the tabs at top of the site, it starts you on
hotel only one.

You won't know your flight time tll you book, but you can get a good deal for a weekend.

If you select Flight and Hotel it will show you your hotel.

They can usually beat any other prices on the web. Only drawback is they have limited departure dates and selection.

I am going in January and found a great deal through http://www.nwaworldvacations.com/ . Round trip from Detroit was only $202 and my hotel was almost 60% off from what I found on vegas.com.

If you are gambling in the hotel you are staying at, you might want to consider booking the air & hotel seperately. I've found that the casino host will often comp all or most of my stay when playing in their hotel. You have to sign up with the host & get your play rated. Be sure to check out through the host, not the desk. Ask for any assistance/break they can give. Its worked for me in Vegas (not in A/C though).

I saw on a Travel Channel show about high rollers that the Lady Luck downtown is a good "low roller" hotel. If you like to be downtown and want to be a low roller (getting comps for a reasonable levcel of gaming), check them out.

Yeah, but how much are you gambling when you're there. I'm only bring about $2000 for gambling, so I'm no high roller, by any definition. I doubt this is enough to be comp'd.

There are 4 people in my group (including me), and together, we'll probably have about $10G in play through the weekend.

I have only been 3 times, but they have all been this year (just got back sunday). Every time I was able to find a good deal on my own. I live in Indianapolis, and flew there on Southwest for $68 one way. I got this rate at Southwest's site, because it beat expedia ect. I stayed at the Flamingo because they comped me the best from my last visit and the couples we went with wanted something decent on the strip.... but I saw that Binions had rooms for as low as $25 a night. You can decide on a Hotel/Casino, then call and try and get a poker room rate too, or if you have gamblers with you a casino rate. My point is to do some searching on your own before you use the travel search engines, and take the time to call and get a poker room rate. Good luck
