Now I think I played this hand horribly. This is a spot I seem to get into quite a lot with TT or JJ where I suspect theres an ovrepair but call down.

I suggested they play with blinds and have a pre-flop betting round and most of them gave me a vacant 'huh' look. They like to keep it simple! I'll just be playing to have a good time then, although...

hmm ye thinking about it folding is probably the best option as it's not worth the risk at this stage even if he does probably have a worse hand than I. wish i'd done that when I played the hand ...

The thing is though the guy had just sat down and I had nothing on him. I felt calling down would be the most +ev option in these circumstances as I really didn't know where I stood.

I was planing on calling down (If MP hadn't raised the river) after BB bet out the turn. MP had shown to me he would call down with any peice of the board. I had no reads on BB so I wasn't entirely...

Yeah looking at it again the fold is pretty clear cut. It's just that the BB folded to the raise too and that threw me off entirely, but with no read on the BB I had to fold.

By checking behind you are almost NEVER going to win the hand. If you bet the weak-tight villain may fold any two unimproved cards that dont have the Ace kicker. Altho you are probly -EV by betting...
