can satalite cable work for internet gaming
I plan to move to the country and the only available internet connection is satalite(direct way). Will this work for internet gaming(poker)? Is anyone using this now? Is there a satalite delay? ...

Re: 88 preflop question
if you fold here you are throwing away money. you could even have them both beat. Dont forget you have position on both of them. i would call the cap and raise the flop...assuming only a bet and...

i agree you played it perfect. Play it the same next time. And the time after that and the next time...you get the idea. Don't worry about results just make good decisions!

Re: Nasty AJo hand, after posting in CO
i see what you are saying, but i raise the flop. check behind on the turn, bet call the river(assuming no more spades). If a spade comes check fold. IMHO.

Re: How\'s my line? AQo
One thing i would reccomend doing is not posting results to skew replies.
But to the hand I am raising that preflop prob 100% of the time. I honestly really do not like that flop bet since you did...

Re: What\'s your line for this one?
I like your bet on the flop. Gives him a chance to fold a better hand. But, once he calls I think im done with the hand. Once i have a read on my opponent ( he shows he 3 bets with nothing) I may...

Re: Too passive?
I think I would wonder what he can have that I can beat on the turn. I think you can call down for info/value as you did. I would expect to see AA-TT most of the time. I think if you have a read...

Re: raise with 99
At .5/1 at Party i almost always raise with these hands. because they are good hands and it helps me take control of the hand post flop.

Re: Problem with AQo
I too have a problem with AQo. It is a small winner for me but, not at the level it seems that it should. I think it is a hand like AJo or KQo, it is good to come in raising with but, not good to...

Re: 99 turn play based on reads
How about 3-betting preflop(trying to isolate vs MP2). I think the hand plays so much easier. If MP1 calls two more bets preflop im more inclinded to give him credit for a hand.

Re: Turn Play With Two Pair
Barring a very good read, I go into call down mode. If a heart falls on the river you could try a bet fold line against the villian.

heads up i think i call turn, check call river. I think you win enough for this to be correct against the average opponent.

Re: how long to stay at .25/.50 poker stars
yes i do plan to skip .5/1 because I can make as much at .25/.50 as i do at .50/1 with less bankroll swing. I thought 100,000 ands would verify iam a winning player at .25/.50 level. Also, it would...

how long to stay at .25/.50 poker stars
I have about 16,000 hands at .25/.50 at Poker Stars. I plan to play 100,000 at .25/.50 then move up to 1/2. By doing this i can take a little profit from each level before moving up. Any comments...
