with a good read I would check/fold the turn UI. Once the J hits it's really hard to get away from. But, without a read you can usually put MP1 on a big pair, AK, or AQ after a 3-bet. All of those beat you when the turn hits. I hate hands like this and should probably dump them more often than I do.

well, i don't know if i could do it during actual play...but on the turn say to yourself, what pf 3-betting hands can i beat? AA-TT, AK, AQ all beat you. The pot is 8 bets, you have few clean outs to win, and a few to chop. Folding the turn would not be horrible in the absence of reads.

heads up i think i call turn, check call river. I think you win enough for this to be correct against the average opponent.
