Re: 3-6-12 lake charles madness
Holy [censored] Kantu, you lost with quads twice in one night! That would have been worth some huge cash at Harrah's with their bad beat jackpot.

Re: 3-6-12 lake charles madness
It's just the 3-6-12 game at Harrah's. That's the only limit game they had when I was there. They had a waiting list for 10-20, but it didn't look like that was going to get going any time soon. Isle...

Re: 3-6-12 lake charles madness
Sounds like my experience there. I didn't play quite as many hands as you, but did loosen up a bit and came home with a nice profit. River play is the interesting part. Value betting a decent but not...

Re: lake charles
I played at Harrah's on the 10th and 11th and thought it was great. They only had 3-6-12 limit and 5-5 NL. There were a bunch of tables going, but I couldn't tell you how many of each. I'd guess at...

Re: Harrah\'s in Lake Charles, LA
Any updates on this? I'm heading that way this weekend. Is the Isle still renovating?
I guess I'm planning on Harrah's, anyone know what limits they spread on the weekends?
Also are there any...

Re: Best room option from Santa Monica
hmmm, that's what I was afraid of. I really didn't want to have to rent a car out there. Maybe I'll be able to get someone to drive me.
Thanks for the quick responses.

Best room option from Santa Monica
I'll be in Santa Monica from Wednesday until Sunday. I won't have a car so I guess I'll be cabbing it. What's my best option for a poker room from there? I know there's a bunch of good rooms in LA,...

Re: Viva Las Vegas
I'll be there 10-13, staying at the Venetian. I'm not much of a poster here, but It'd be cool to meet some of you guys. I'll likely be playing the Mirage at some point anyway.

Re: Lucky Eagle-Eagle Pass, TX
I wouldn't mind jumping into a local game with some 2+2ers. I'm in North Austin, so the Round Rock location would work fine with me.

Re: Flopped straight, fold the turn?
That thought did cross my mind too. Any club or any card 10 or up looks really bad. It's tough. The Hero obviously has no reads as this is the first hand at the table. What do we have, about $100 in...

Re: Flopped straight, fold the turn?
I'm a bit torn on this. I could see him betting a set this way. Then again he didn't raise preflop. I'd be inclined to call this down. Is that too weak? There's a decent pot there, I'd hate to give...
