Default Best room option from Santa Monica

I'll be in Santa Monica from Wednesday until Sunday. I won't have a car so I guess I'll be cabbing it. What's my best option for a poker room from there? I know there's a bunch of good rooms in LA, but I'm not familiar with where everything is. I'm looking at the lower limits, 3/6 - 6/12. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

The clubs are all a good distance from Santa Monica. I think it would be cheaper to rent a car than cab it to any of the clubs. Hollywood Park is probably the closest, not far from LAX.

I live near Santa Monica and I go to Hollywood park. Its not that close, but its a shorter trip than Commerce.

I don't know how the over casinos compare, but its not too easy to get a hold of a porter at hollywood park, and the atmosphere is often sleezy.

hmmm, that's what I was afraid of. I really didn't want to have to rent a car out there. Maybe I'll be able to get someone to drive me.

Thanks for the quick responses.

It's illegal to walk more than two blocks out here. Yeah, you'll need a car one way or another.

The Bike and Hustler are closer to Santa Monica than Commerce, but not by much. If you head down midday or after evening rush hour, you can be at Commerce in 30 minutes from SM. You'll be glad you did.
