Re: $25nl - rock or fancy?
I'm thinking that instead of playing just 1 table (6 max) and focusing on the characteristics of the opponents and trying to out play them, I would be better off to multi-table and basically play...

$25nl - rock or fancy?
Bit of background - I have been playing NL for about 6 months now, made a couple of $50 deposits and have worked my roll upto $400, but then I think I got a bit cocky, lossened up a bit too much, and...

Re: Win by not losing
[ QUOTE ]
I totally agree that the ability to laydown i vitally important. Regarding your win rate however, not much can be said about your winrate after 5000 hands. To give an example, if your...

Win by not losing
My game of choice is Party $25NL and been playing that for a few months now. I have played 5000 hands and my BB/100 floats between +/-3, so basically I am pretty breakeven. MY $VPIP is 27%, PFR 12%...

Re: Bet this flop or try to induce a bluff?
I have a horrible feeling this is a classic $25/$50NL slow played set.
I don't like to play a paired board without trips at least.
Fine checking the flop, but his bet on the turn would cause me to...

Re: Winning strategy at the $25nl tables?
I like a to make a continuation bet on the flop whether I hit or miss. If however I get called or raised then I tend to fold or check it down. Is this too weak, as sometimes I see people call pot...

Re: Pushing with AJ
[ QUOTE ]
I don't.
AJo is by no means a great hand.
Against a PP you are at best a coin flip. You really want to risk your stack on that?
IMO, even including fold equity, this is a long term...

Winning strategy at the $25nl tables?
Hello,
I am trying to play a pretty tight ABC game, similair to that detailed on http://www.winningnolimitholdem.com/index.php?section=strategy_guide
I only call a raise with AK/AA/KK, unless its a...

More aggression on turn?
Was worried slightly about the straight but looking back I think a nice raise on the turn would have been better.
I just let him limp and catch on the river /images/graemlins/frown.gif
Thoughts?

Re: Flopped the Royal - Not me, Villain!!
River action (got lost somewhere in hand conversion)
Looking at it again I am actually ashamed to post this:
Hero checks.
Villain bets [$3].
Hero is all-In [$15.4]
Villain [$24.8].
Villain...

Re: Bad push with two pair
He was allowed to check from the blinds so could be playing any two cards. I would have bet the flop as you did, then perhaps check/fold the turn, dodgy board - he has 79...
Or perhaps my play is...

Flopped the Royal - Not me, Villain!!
I have just recently started to record and analyze all of the hands that I lose at showdown.
This one hurt me big time yesterday. Looking back it was a dangerous flop and I should have just let it...

Re: Sorry yall
Ok, so say we chuck in a nice healthy raise on the flop:
If we get re-raised then easy fold. But what if villain just calls? At the $25s this could still indicate just TP rather than 2pair or set?

Did I play this badly? $25nl hand
From his minraise preflop I thought possibly small pocket pair, but didn't once think he had spiked a set on the flop.
Bet out once I hit the flush, but he got lucky on river, or did I play this...
