From his minraise preflop I thought possibly small pocket pair, but didn't once think he had spiked a set on the flop.
Bet out once I hit the flush, but he got lucky on river, or did I play this poorly?

At this level I would be folding K9s, even in the SB, I think it'll get into more trouble than it's worth.

That said everything seems fine from flop onwards. You just got unlucky on the river, could just have easily have been an overpair, straight or something else you beat.

Postflop all well and good, I hate to play the role of preflop police but in oop here just muck it I think

I tend to play most Ax and Kx suited for 1 bet, for the flush possibilities. Is this a leak?
