Re: How does this line look?
If I'm reading this right, MP3 lost 6000 of his 7800 chips. DONK
That was quite good play. Very enticing 1800 bet with 6000 in pot.

Tough decision -- KQ
Live tourney. Blinds 75/150. UTG (1200)and MP1 (2000) limp...both are very loose. I've seen UTG play J7o in early position. SB (1200) completes. I am in BB and look at KQo (1000). Do you push or play...

I've seen a couple threads on this. Expect to be sitting on your butt, getting hassled by folks all day. You keep all tips, it doesn't go to a bigger pool that everyone shares later. It obviously...

Re: Is a rental Car needed in Vegas for WSOP
As a local, I recommend a car. Weekly rates in summer are usually pretty good. Plus, it's nice to get away from the glitz, especially during the day. Red Rock Canyon (about 10-15 minutes from where I...

Re: He\'s in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to say that your buddy played very well. About 4-5 hours earlier, it was 2500-5000, he was BB. Seidel (SB) calls, and your buddy checks. I see that he has 24o. Both at about 120k in...

Re: How sure do you have to be here?
I think a river bet is definitely in order. Limping KK PF is possible, but unlikely. 99 is the only thing you lose to...calling a raise on river is fine IMO, but capping is cool too.

I think you just answered your dilemma. You're not going to hit that T very often...you must win with the jack. Raise.

Re: Textbook Flop Raise?
In your other post, you mention that you 'desperately' need help with either a T or J. How confident are you in that? Will the bettor only bet out a Q? That is the better question to ask. If the...

Re: Hit the nuts on the turn.......
I agree with 3-bet on turn. I'm prone to play this preflop too...I don't mind the call.
What is most interesting is the river. No bet? CO coming out of nowhere is probably AJ-TJ, as I imagine that...

But you know, I'm really not joking about preflop. You can't win like this. You really can't. Think about it.

Re: A9...too aggro?
Any reads on MP1? With no reads, I like it a lot, as you MUST know if MP1 holds the goods (set or overpair) or the flush draw. B/c MP1 called, that is a very good chance on flush draw (good) or...

Re: Walk through this ATo from the BB with me.
You are +=EV at best. I would definitely not lead out, b/c raise by MP puts you in the crapper (but with plenty of outs).
I like check/call on flop. You must hope for better EV on turn. If turn...

Re: Textbook Flop Raise?
Will they fold AJ/KQ? Raise for sure. Are they more liable to CC A8 or things similar to it? Raise is good. Is BB a strong player, but will possibly fold/or check the turn so you get a free card?...

With the 3/6 blind structure I think this is a fold preflop. Also, I prefer a checkraise on this draw heavy flop to thin the field.

Re: Is this right? Top pair, crap kicker
With so many players, K9o IMO loses its value even more. Fold preflop.
With that said, if you are going to play it, check/call check/call bet is probably your best line (e.g. what happens if you...
