Which flush is the right flush?

Two players have a heart flush. Board is 4h 5c 9h Th Kh. Player A has a Jh, player B has a 6h.

My question is, do they both play the board aka King high flush, or do they keep going down to...

Re: Money and PokerStars

Use the EFT transfer, which will transfer money for free but it will take about a week. Even longer if it lasts through the weekend.

Re: Did I play this badly? (Oh, and hello, my first post)

Yea I agree completely with what you mean about how people on the tables will turn their aggression on you, which I don't think it's particularly a bad thing. I also understand that a lot of players...

Re: Did I play this badly? (Oh, and hello, my first post)

I agree, but I believe it would have been a much easier call if he had two hearts rather than one in his pockets. If another heart didn't come out on the turn then it would have been no biggie and...

Re: Did I play this badly? (Oh, and hello, my first post)

I'm probably the only person who would have folded after being reraised on the flop.

I mean you could say were somewhat commited but what if you didn't hit that runner runner flush? Does it still...

Re: WHat do you put him on?

I was also thinking that he may have had pockets lower than 9, also not wanting a call so he made that significant raise to make it seem like he had higher pockets.

For several reasons: He is UTG...

Re: Big stack calling stations

You could always just keep folding. The chip leader to your left is either going to suffer a lot from calling too much or he's going to make his stack bigger when lower stacked players push all in...

Re: WHat do you put him on?

My guess is between pocket JJ, or QQ. What did you put him on when you folded?

Re: Malmuth\'s Poker Essays III: I\'m confused

I don't know if it's the right play but I do it a lot, and in this situation I would check. If a player raises, I reraise and usually most limpers who would have limped in if you raised on the flop...

Re: What Kind Of Bankroll Is Needed?

I've never played those kind of tournaments because my roll is far too short but I'm guessing you need at least 10,000? It depends how frequently you play too. I see teecoy who is the tournament...

Re: Kind of sad, kind of funny

Haha its funny how you mention this because I had a similar problem about a month ago. I was playing 3 $5 SNGs when suddenly my internet goes down. During this time I've been having this problem a...

Re: $5 tournament, final two tables

You can't muck 88 when you have a set /images/graemlins/laugh.gif If you meant preflop, then ok. Well yes I have been getting tremendous amount of respect around this point where I trapped a player...

Re: $5 tournament, final two tables

Well the thing is I actually did have position here. By raising 36,000 preflop everybody but the BB folded. Therefore he was first to act after the flop. And then I made the huge mistake by...

Re: $5 tournament, final two tables

Thanks a lot guys, he got me good because I put him on two overcards, not A8. The small raise he bet made me think that he didn't have the 8 and I thought he was just trying to steal so I went all...

Re: $5 tournament, final two tables

Yea I also tried to put some deception and hoping that he would put me on at least pocket Ts. Since in the past I have been raising with pockets. He also beat me earlier with KJ suited when I...

Hi, with over 1400+ participants, I managed to survive and had a decent stack of about 100k until this hand came:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t12000 (9 handed)

UTG+1...

Re: Is there a single person who would lay this hand down?

I don't think you could have folded there, it just sucks that he made the set. I would've put him on KK, QQ, AK suited as well.. the fact that he goes all in after the flop would make me think that...

Re: Strategy question

You always want players on your right since you are always going to have better position on them.

Against these players play premium hands like AK, AQ suited, pockets, connectors. If you flop top...

Re: Crazy blinds situation...

Yea these things happen more frequently than I would like and like you said, it's easy to put the other guy on AA after he keeps reraising. But then theres no way you're gonna fold your trip kings...

Re: Heads Up - Should I ever fold to the extreme short stack?

If you make a pair, or have reasonable outs on a draw then you should call due to pot odds. You gotta also figure that the guy only has so little left that he has nothing to lose going all in hoping...
