RESULTS - and another question
Well, as you can probably guess, I came over the top of the flop bet for all my chips and got called. He showed KK and I was done. Once I call the pre-flop re-raise I'm going broke here every time. ...

Results/Real Story
I wrote this post this way to keep the Bad Beat Police off my back - I actually was the player in the BB, and I had pushed with AJo. It didn't really hit me how bad this guy's play was until I was in...

Act III at Foxwoods
Planning on playing in an Act III tonight at Foxwoods. The blind structure is identical to most Multi-table tournaments I'm used to playing, however the stacks are much deeper - I'm used to starting...

RESULTS
I appreciate everyone's input. I did call, he turned over pocket 7's, and I didn't catch any of my 8 outs. Thinking about it now, I don't think I was getting correct odds to call - but I honestly...

Final Table Conundrum
8 handed final table with the top 5 finishers getting paid; 4th and 5th basically get their money back. Blinds are 400/800, and I have roughly $8500, which puts me in about 4th or 5th place. There...

Re: Folding pocket QQ on a J-T-2 rainbow flop?
I say its completely read dependant. If you know this guy as a good player, I say the worst possible hand he's holding is KK, which dominates you. If your read is correct, there's no hand you can put...

Re: Will the poor play ever stop????????
A couple comments:
1) You're playing in a $5 tourney
2) The only worse play in this hand than calling with 3/4o is your check on the flop containg two clubs.
3) You didnt loose this hand...

Re: $100+$9 Stars Tourney - overcall with JJ?
I dont think its close. The call (and loss) leaves with you less than 4x BB. Why risk it on such a marginal hand when it's quite likely that the SB has two overs with the push? It's almost impossible...

Re: A lowly pair of 5s: Part 1
My first thought here is too check. My reasoning may be a bit weak, but the rason I would check is that I would HATE a raise here, but wouldn't mind calling a bet from the PF raiser, and see if one...

First, I want to ask do you think you are behind here? What hands could we possibly be behind? AK would have surely raised, as I would think AQ would have. A6 MAYBE for the first limper, but the...

Re: Foxwoods Fiasco - Sunday Report
853 entered the $500 event Sunday. They actually stoped selling seats at 840, but I was seated close to the registration desk, and it seemed they allowed 13 more to enter as alternates.
