Re: AJ - keep bullying my way on the river?

[ QUOTE ]
i disagree because they arent weighted

J8 will most likely not be played like this, JQ will

therefore its more likely the vil holds JQ than J8, regardless of combinations

[ QUOTE ]
i think your betting for value here.

you would most likely have heard from a K here by now

so, either he missed a draw which is now irrelevant (as you arent getting any more money...

Re: Flush draw - appropriate aggression?

[ QUOTE ]
The board in this case is pretty dangerous, so if someone had a made hand, I would think that they'd raise the flop immediately to chase out the draws rather than wait for the turn.

Re: I Don\'t Like Aces on the Turn

[ QUOTE ]

Re: Interesting Hand, Table Coach Snapped

[ QUOTE ]
raise the flop, 2 draws, call the 3bet

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree with raising the flop. I dont agree with calling the 3 bet. Sets are pretty rare, I think if you slow down that fast you...

Re: Hit a backdoor flush draw - how to extract on river?

I dont think that MP3 will raise this very often. Nor do i think MP1 calls very often, since the river did not complete anything he was drawing to (unless he was also on the backdoor flush draw and...

Re: how did i play this

I didn't overcall. The diamond draw never got there. It was pretty clear that MP1 didnt catch anything, I think, and my entire premis was that it was likelly that BB was tilting and that i was ahead...

Re: how did i play this

i would not have overcalled the river, but since i was first to act after MP2 bet, i think i had to call in this huge pot, even if my chances of winning are very slim.

BB showed Qs3d
MP1 shows...

Re: how did i play this

Given that MP1 and MP2 were calling and their past play I figured they were sitting on draws, and very likelly at least one of them was not worth paying for, so if they were going to stick around i...

Party Poker 0.50/1, 10h table that started falling appart

BB: 38.89,11.11,1.0 after ~30 hands, he seems to be tilting
MP1: 58.33,2.08,0.28 after ~50 hands

Re: Stupid chasing or good agressive play?

I like the way you played it, you had a big edge and you pushed it correctly. The only thing that I will say is that you can not count the kings as full outs, so you have maybe 16.5 or so outs. But I...

Re: Plz help me analize this hand

seems like a way ahead or way behind situation to me. thats probly why you just call raise and then call river.

Re: floped straight, board pairs on river.

Re: floped straight, board pairs on river.

Re: If you open-limp on the button, your IQ is 14

I agree with this. At first I thought that I would prefer check/call on the river instead of check/fold, because i find that a lot of people i play will bet every time the action goes like this flop...

Re: Top Two

I find the river raise more confusing for a hand you beat then a turn call for a hand that beats you. But I agree that AJ is deffinitelly a good possibility. Do you think the 3rd guy calls a reraise...

Re: Top Two

I think I would just call. I mean i can't think of a hand his line was logical for, but most of the least non-sensical hands he would do this with beat you.
