Default Top Two

This guys line totally confuses me. CO is an unknown. What's your play here and why?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, UTG+2 calls, <font color="#CC3333">CO caps</font>, Hero calls, UTG+2 calls.

I think I would just call. I mean i can't think of a hand his line was logical for, but most of the least non-sensical hands he would do this with beat you.

I don't know, his turn call is pretty odd with anything that beats you. JJ, 22? Only 4 total combinations. A2/A7 are possibilities. Another AJ may actually be his most likely holding, IMO. For that reason I really don't mind just calling. But yeah, his line is confusing.

I find the river raise more confusing for a hand you beat then a turn call for a hand that beats you. But I agree that AJ is deffinitelly a good possibility. Do you think the 3rd guy calls a reraise if he holds A2 or something?

why does it say 4 handed? isnt it utg+2 hero and co

You'd have to ask Bob since he gave no read. He seems to like to call though.

If you think UTG+2 will call 2 I re-raise, otherwise I call to get UTG+2 in there. I'm not giving CO credit for AA or JJ here, especially with the over you're getting from UTG+2.

I think a 3-bet will blow UTG+1 away (or at least it should). The way I saw it was, if I 3-bet, UTG+1 will fold. If I have CO beat, he will call, thus I net one bet. IF CO has me beat, he will cap, and I will not fold and thus I lose. I think just calling is the safest as it wins me the most/loses me the least.

Call the river.

He may show you a set, but how can you not look him up at this point?

I believe the question was call/raise, not call/fold.
