Default I Don\'t Like Aces on the Turn

Are we betting here or should we check trying to either lose the least or induce a bluff on the river. Of course, there is the chance that I give him the miracle free card he needs if we are still ahead.

what makes you think he has an ace?

flop is not too draw-heavy (there are straight draws with the K and J, but that is all). his most likely hand is a pair, and he will call you down with it. if he just calls your turn bet, value bet the river.

Bet, he is likely to call down hoping for an ace, but he's also likely to have any other part of the board, a pocket pair, etc etc etc. He plays half his hands dude, half of your hands don't include aces in them.

That's not the read you want. Knowing that he has check-raised isn't sufficient for you to fear it. Knowing that he has check-raise bluffed may make you want to check.

You do realise you have a ton of outs vs Ax anyway?

Bet.

I know. I'm definitely bet calling here if raised. I'm really not in bad shape either way. I did bet. The Ace is just that one card you never really want to see (if you don't have it) in low limits.

Wouldn't that make you wanna bet?

The problem is you don't know when he has it and when he's bluffing. If he's capable of the c/r bluff, he could get me to lay down the best hand. It would happen in this hand because of the potential redraws, but if he check raised as a bluff when say the turn brings 3 to a flush, you may fold.

Easy bet/call IMO. Fold the river UI if villain check raised the turn.
