Re: Handreading (maybe content)
Your flop check is pretty weak so villain could have as little as AKs (diamonds). Call the raise evaluate again on the turn.

Re: Ludicrous Attempt
Thank you. This is what I was really asking. I wasn't asking why one shouldn't do it, because that is obvious. I was trying to figure out if a person decided to take this route what would the best...

Re: Ludicrous Attempt
Well, personal skill at the $200 max level is not related to the bankroll of $2000 in this case. Having to use a good portion of my previous bankroll to pay emergency expenses. So I'm anxious to get...

Re: Ludicrous Attempt
So what percentage of the time do you estimate this kind of attempt being busted pretty quickly?

Ludicrous Attempt
This may sound completely absurd but I wanted to get some thoughts on the matter. Say a person is an above average NLHE player at $200 max PP, yet his bankroll is only $2000. He decides that he is...

Re: make a big call?
Given villain's stats he does not seem the type of player to just check/check after you showed an obvious lack of confidence on the river. He believes he can snatch the pot with a sizable bet.

Re: make a big call?
I think a stronger hand than yours would take another shot at you on the turn, but villain didn't. On the river looks like villain made a play at your weakness...gotta look him up.

Re: In which I checkraise with undercards.
I like the check-raise on the flop because you are most likely eliminating the SB, but even if the Button was just taking a stab at the pot he is unlikely to fold to this raise. What do you do if the...

Re: River Play with Rivered Set
Given the coordination of the flop and the check-raise on the turn, A3 is not out of the question. This looks like a river bet/call to me.

Re: Weird huge pot QQ hand
Why are AA or KK assumed from the CO? He seems fairly agg preflop; the limp/cap seems more like a pot building play than to indicate an extremely strong hand such as AA/KK...feels more like AKs IMO

Re: Maximizing value by just calling the whole way
Depending on how legit Button's three-bet was he is most likely to call a raise on the turn. BB is playing with a pocket pair so he also is calling a turn raise and doing a check call to your bet on...

Re: Pocket 9s river a set
It is very possible MP2 has KJ, possibly suited hearts which would explain the passive calling. 67s hearts is also a possibilty.

Re: Trouble Hands
Personally I feel one leak in your game is raising AJo (even suited for that matter) from early position. It is not nearly strong enough to withstand a 3-bet from middle and late positions. Also IMO...

Re: free money on line help or hurt?
Free money players are usually just bored 15 year olds looking for something to do. It is absolutely worthless to participate in free money games. Last I remember Ultimate Bet lets you buy in for...

Re: One more hand with the fishies...
Probably should have raised pf. Given the passive play of the "fish" there is no way you can check the river. It is more likely that they are chasing the diamond flush or gut straights than a...
