Whats the thought on the turn check raise? Just to reduce the field?

Why I raised PF: 6 callers ahead of me and the game was extremely loose. I tend to follow the SSHE guidelines.. I'm pretty sure...

I've been playing Stars SnG's too, but have had trouble being a smaller stack against tight players at the end.
