Default AJo on coordinated board

Been getting crappy hands all night, and when I saw AJo it looked like a light shining down from heaven... but I think I played this one too far. Comments?

Ixnay on the pre-flop raise.

Perhaps check raise the turn?

Just because AJo is the first good hand you saw doesn't make it AA or KK. Complete the SB.

Bet/raise flop, check/call turn and river and expect to see some goofy-arse hand that beats you for a two-pair or a straight.

Whats the thought on the turn check raise? Just to reduce the field?

Why I raised PF: 6 callers ahead of me and the game was extremely loose. I tend to follow the SSHE guidelines.. I'm pretty sure AJo is a raise here, though I don't have it memorized.

It isn't a raise from the SB. It is from everywhere else.

Remember: position is the most important aspect of hold'em.

Ah you're right. Just checked it. I think I'll reread the preflop section on the SB. Thanks!

Am I the only one who 3-bets the flop?

Not much thought on it, and I probably wouldn't do it. Just throwing it out there. However it would give BB improper odds to call with a gutshot. Problem is there's a decent chance you're already beaten.

Players at .05-.10 are not bright enough to pick up on a check/raise. Play it straightfoward.

I most definately 3 bet this flop, you have no idea where you are on the flop so a raise would give a clue as to the strength of your opponent if he caps or just calls
