I think the play you made on the river is the only play you can make because if you check you lose... I however think his play at the end was to either hang you with a check raise or he at least...

I think you made 2 mistakes here....
1 on the turn i would have checked raise.... if I had him on a set than why would I bet out on the river? I would have put him to the test for one I think its...

Running a Tourny and then changing over to ring games....

I think whenever your in a tourny and you think about a raise before the flop... you also have to think far enough ahead to be willing to go all in or lay it down if someone else decides to go all...
