Re: Should I fold these

I was also asking for two pair to fold but yeah. That's about the answer I was expecting, I just needed someone to tell me to fold instead of always wishing I would have when I start the next hand X...

Should I fold these

This is the fifth hand of a tourney, so no reads yet.

I was looking for how many just try to show this down as cheaply as possible or even check-fold, because I find myself in these situations...

Re: A few draws, Post flop commentary appreciated

I hate the checkraises on the semi-bluff. Part of the value of a semi-bluff is to get the opponent to fold, and a checkraise gives them better odds of calling. Would you call if they pushed when...

Re: Live Sit and Go advice

This should probably be in home poker, but I don't have enough posts to police anyone.

You left out a lot of key details about the game, as most of the home games I've played in have bad...

Re: Going to far with KQo?

That was pretty much my point. If there's any hope he's ahead on the flop, there is virtually no chance on the turn due to the fact that any draws would have got there.

Re: Call here on the button?

I hate to hijack a thread, but does the converter not recognize all ins? I posted using it for the first time today and it didn't record any of the allins in that hand either.

Re: Going to far with KQo?

Although you may have the best hand on the flop, I can only think of one hand that he would call your bet with that you still beat on the turn, which is KJ. If he was drawing with QJ he got there,...

Re: Does anyone not go broke here?

Well, the general opinion seems to go along with me, I was just checking to see if anyone gives the smooth call on the flop enough credit to check fold the flop. (Comical) Results in white. I also...

Re: Does anyone not go broke here?

I see what you are saying, Button pushed for 660 and myself and MP called. I was trying to keep my turn action to myself until I heard other responses, but I will post it in white. If you want...

Re: Does anyone not go broke here?

I hit TPTK on a two suited board, pot was 530 and as first to act I bet 500.

Does anyone not go broke here?

Very little reads as I am multitabling and only in level 2 here, but main villian had made his stack when his 92s from BB beat UTG's AKo when a 9 turned w/ Q and J on board.

Party Poker No-Limit...

Re: How do you change your opening requirements for limpers?

Can you expand your reason's for folding? I'm certainly not arguing, because that is what I've always done, but I recently moved up in leves to 33's and after 200 tourneys I'm bringing in a whopping...

Re: How do you change your opening requirements for limpers?

I see this as a major weakness in my game, so I will post some of my thoughts with the hope of some input.

One situation I see myself in alot is a big offsuit king in LMP. I've been playing around...

3-Handed (ITM) Calling Standards

I have been in a lot of situations recently where I have a decent stack (around 25% of chips in play) with no need to panic but the other two players are pushing almost every hand and pretty much...

3 Table SNG\'s

Not even sure if this should go in the MTT forum, but I would like input from 1 table players anyways so here goes. I've been playing around three years and my game has improved some but matured a...

Re: Final Table NLH “Reverse Gap Theory” Hand (Poll Included)

I voted "fold but close decision" because I think there is a strong likelyhood you are dominated and drawing to a ten. I did forget that it's a winner take all tourney though, so I might change but...

Re: PP Bad Beat Jackpot

I received my reply. $.50 will be collected from each raked hand. 10% will go to PP, 20% to seed the next Jackpot, and 70% to build the current Jackpot. He will also "forward my suggestions to...

Re: PP Bad Beat Jackpot

I just sent an email to party asking 1. The drop, 2. The percentage of the drop that goes to the jackpot, 3. If the standards would stay the same when the beta period is over. One thing to consider...

Re: Why not re-raise all in preflop everytime you get AA?

In any tourney staying alive is more important than anything else. Although you are a huge favorite against all hands when you hold aces, you will still lose around 1 out of 5 times. Therefore, my...

Re: Is this just a shootout?

I am not saying that this is my normal style of play, I only use it in this particular game. My reasoning is that I will get paid off with a made hand, so I want to see a flop before I commit...

Re: Is this just a shootout?

The structure guarantees luck will be a large factor, as you only start w/ 25x BB. If you are fairly certain you are better than the other players, more chips would be a good investment. If you...

Re: An Almost Perfect Flop...How do you play this KQs?

I like your play here except I would probably raise the flop. If a three bet can buy the button, you can possibly take a free card on the turn, and a three bet is beleivable because you could very...

Re: Two simple hands (PP 0.5/1) - did i played bad or smth?

As far as the first hand is concerned, I don't ever like to draw to a straight with a flush draw on the board unless I have other outs such as overcards or a big card of that suit. In this case...

Re: Cesars Indiana Tourney

Everything I've played has been very soft. If you play online its very similar to the 1-2 or 2-4 tables at party. The highest I've ever played at Cesars is 10-20, which I don't play a lot due to...
